The role
Given the practices steady growth in the USA, Europe, Russia, India, Asia and the Middle East over the last decade, my client is now looking for an experienced senior architect to work in their Shanghai office. This position will lead efforts from inception through to completion within the commercial practice group for Retail/Entertainment, Residential and Hospitality projects and evolve designs with minimal supervision. The role will allow you to work on both national and international projects, developing your own portfolio and knowledge base. Your role will involve team leadership and mentoring to other members of your team. You will have a passion for concept design !
The person
You will ideally:
• Have experience from inception through to completion
• Knowledge of Chinese construction and English-Chinese bilingual skills a must!
• Registered architect
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Communicate design solutions in a variety of methods
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD,
• Knowledge of other graphic programs a plus
