The company

Our client is an International practice who specialise in Leisure and Hotel projects. Based in Oxford Circus, they are conveniently located for candidates in the City and Home Counties.

The role

This role has responsibility for rendered plans and section elevations, detailing and translating concept design into building assemblies for full design process during all phases. This role will require completion of technical research and reviews and the provision of feedback for organization of specific manuals for interior finishes, furnishings and accessories, space planning as well as substantial knowledge in architectural contract preparation, liability and fee calculations as associated with related projects. The role demands creative foresight, maturity in design judgment -especially when anticipating and solving design comparatives.

The person

The right candidate will have a proven track record within hotel and commercial interior designing and they must have extensive experience and ability in the use of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.

The ideal candidate will also have:
• A strong background in interior design, graphic design concepts, hand sketch case work, vignette scenes, hand colouring, rendering interior drawings, area take offs and shop drawings.
• Exceptional ability and experience in independently designing major areas within the hotel and commercial interior design project arena and skills for multi management of projects.
• Extensive proficiency and understanding in creating profiles and construction Interior details, including millwork and casework.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interface with Clients, Consultants, Vendors and Internal staff.
• Extensive knowledge of translating design concepts into building assemblies.
• The ability to take on a leadership role in which will be required to coordinate, delegate and mentor their subordinates and project team.
