The company

A small consultancy working with large developer clients on large housing estate schemes.

The role

To design two small precast concrete access bridges over a river to gain access to a new housing development.

The candidate will be responsible for the design of the bridges and presenting the designs to the Local authority.

The role will also involve the assessment and presentation to the Local Council on the viability of a number of 6 and 3.5 metre culverts throughout the site.

The Candidate will need to have extensive experience with both Precast concrete bridge structure and concrete culverts. Chartered Engineer status and working knowledge of Local authority legislation is imperative.

To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK

The person

You will be a chartered engineer (MICE or MIStructE) with bridge design experience.

You will be available to start work as soon as possible for a 3 months contract located on the M3 corridor.

The reward

This should be an interesting project for a capable chartered engineer to run by themselves and build a good relationship with the consultancy and developer for future business opportunities.
