The role
You will be part of the commercial team that optimises the short-term market value of the asset portfolio.
You will develop and execute trading strategies, requiring close communication with operators at power plants and the market traders.
You will liaise with many internal and external stakeholders gaining a deep insight into all aspects of the utility business.
The person
Preferably you will have recent experience in managing positions in the short-term gas and / or electricity markets.
You will have good analytical skills and clear commercial acumen. A university degree in a business or engineering discipline is desirable. You will possess excellent communication skills.
As the portfolio is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week you will be part of a flexible shift team. Due to the nature of this position flexibility in hours of work is essential.
Candidates must possess the immediate right to live and work in the European Economic Area (EEA).
