The RIBA National and International awards dinner, sponsored by Faststream Recruitment took place on 22nd June at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
The best in UK and International architecture was celebrated at the awards dinner where no fewer than 63 buildings were announced as RIBA Award-winners.

Over 500 projects by RIBA Members across the world were entered in this year’s RIBA Awards programme, with winners of RIBA National and RIBA European Awards going on to be considered for the coveted RIBA Stirling Prize later this year.

Amongst the prize winners was the ‘The Singing Ringing Tree’ designed by architect Tonkin Liu for the Mid-Pennine Art and Burnley Borough Council (pictured below). Built on the site of radio masts and a brick maintenance shed, the fascinating design is one of four commissions for arts projects in East Lancashire.
