The role
From an office in the beautiful surrounds of the southern French coast, you will be part of the rapidly developing and expanding Yacht Management team of one of the longest established yacht brokering, chartering and management firms.
In the position, you will be:
• Ensuring the smooth operations of large Yachts from 30-100m operating worldwide, mainly in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
• Traveling to luxurious destinations worldwide to supervise new builds and refits and to visit the yachts’ operational areas.
• Liaising with high profile clients in these destinations.
The person
The ideal candidate must:
• Have excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal professionally and amicably with both high profile clients and yacht captains on a daily basis.
• Come from a strong maritime background in either of two areas: Naval Architects and Class 1 Engineers with superintendent or class/flag surveying experience OR Captains with large yacht experience and the ability and willingness to learn fast.
• Must have experience in the application of ISM and ISPS certifications.
