This large well-established practice is growing fast and is currently standing in the region of 7000 staff in over 170 offices worldwide. Being such a large practice they are not only architectural, they also work on civil and structural engineering. With offices throughout England they are particularly looking to grow their office in High Wycombe. Based in a lovely area with a close commute for staff from Reading, London, Oxford and Aylesbury.
The role
Our client is seeking enthusiastic and innovative staff who can design, win and deliver their solution-oriented services to our existing and new clients.
The successful candidate will have a Higher Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with valuable experience of major projects and will have worked in consultation with statutory and non-statutory bodies. The position is primarily in support of our UK clients.
Experience of wastewater networks is essential, and should be supported by knowledge of current UK and international best practice. The candidate will be expected to undertake business development and presentations to clients and must be personable and presentable. At this level we expect a proven ability to find and win new work. You will become part of the team working on a variety of schemes to solve sewer flooding, unsatisfactory overflows and the design of system improvements and enhancements to Wastewater Networks.
The person
You will have experience in the water/wastewater industry, primarily in the design or hydraulic modelling of wastewater networks, CSOs etc. In addition to the required technical skills, you should have the ability to work well within a team environment, have a strong client service focus and excellent organisational skills.
Work with regulators and/or water companies will also be of benefit. The individual will also demonstrate a proven ability in preparation of high quality oral and written communications and preparation of consulting proposals and estimates. A history of supervising staff in delivering projects and commitment to team development will be advantageous.
The reward
A highly competitive salary package will be offered (negotiable, depending on the individual, but likely to be up to £45,000 p.a. + benefits).
