Shortages of qualified structural design engineers in the market-place mean that this consultancy with its excellent reputation has started to turn work away.
The person
You will show design experience across a range of materials; steel, concrete, masonry & timber, glass etc…
You will be able to pick up projects ranging in size and type, at varying stages of completion.
It is essential that you show an interest and flare for architectural design.
Representing the consultancy, running meetings with the clients, architects and contractors, resolving problems on site, you should have excellent communication skills and not just be a number cruncher.
